Spinal Cord Stimulators

Well I went to my last doctors visit and told my pain management specialist that I am very tired of all the band aid fixes that they have been offering me. He had talked to me previously about the Spinal Cord Stimulator. He told me he felt I was a good candidate for this and would set me up for a trial. I have done research since then and have found that the devices have improved significantly since I started looking at them years ago. They have rechargable batteries now and do not require replacement every year or two as they did in the past.

The doctor also told me he would be running two leads as the back pain portion of my pain problems would be harder to get right than the leg or sciatic problems would. My biggest issues are with my sciatic pain and leg problems so if they can get that comfortable it would be a blessing for me!

I spoke to the Medtronic Representative today and he told me that they more than likely will be using the Restore Ultra on me if things go well.
